Famous media personality compares Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade, says one can sing and the other just shouts

- This was said during an interview, where Yemi Alade boasted about being one of the top five artistes in Nigeria

The internet has been buzzing over a viral video of OAP Misi of Hot Fm saying that Yemi Alade has a better singing range than Tiwa Savage who she revealed is more of a shouter than a singer.

Misi's comment was passed during an interview with Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade also known as Mama Africa who opened up about her position in the Nigerian music industry. According to Misi who recently attended a live performance show by Tiwa, the Mavin's first lady just shouts.

However, Yemi Alade who sang in the presence of the radio host was classified a better range-reaching singing, the type that even gave one goosebumps.





Speaking on the show, Alade shared her details about her status in the industry revealing that she has had her taste of success in the Nigerian entertainment industry. She stated that touring has made her realised that the top five artiste in Nigeria are on the same level with no one as number one as they all excel well.

She said: “I respect everybody, we all inspire each other in this industry… there is actually no number one because your top five artistes in Nigeria that are the biggest in Africa can shut down the exact same capacity.

“The same capacity Wizkid holds down in Africa, I hold it down, the same capacity Davido holds down in Africa, I hold it down, the same venues, we all shut it down.

“So there is no number one, and that is the truth but not everybody will agree to that, people will say Yemi shut up but that is the truth. Why don’t we go ask the promoters, the people who know the numbers?”

Meanwhile, just recently, Tanzanians accused Tiwa Savage of allegedly manipulating votes for award show, saying Vanessa Mdee got more votes.
